      The amazing thing about aerogel

      Aerogel is said to be the lightest solid material on Earth and has excellent insulating properties.
      This was done by placing chocolate on top of the airgel and applying fire from below, but you can see that the chocolate does not melt easily. In other words, it is completely "insulated".

      How SOLARCORE® works

      Air has a low thermal conductivity, so the more air trapped inside your clothing, the warmer it will be.
      That's why feather down jackets and synthetic down coats are so puffy.

      By creating pockets of air between the individual down feathers, you can retain heat and keep the cold out.

      SOLARCORE® uses airgel, a NASA technology, that has a different function and feel than traditional jackets.

      In fact, aerogel is 99.8% air.
      Because airgel is almost completely air-trapping, SOLARCORE® can trap more air at just 2mm thickness than a thick, fluffy coat.
